This soap was used to wash hands, it was diluted. The smell was unusually strong so I washed them with a different hand soap. Later, when I ate lunch, I could only smell the odor of that soap every time I put the fork to my mouth. Unappetizing, to say the least. I hand-washed a sinkful of dishes at the Dawn Ultra—yes, my hands still smell of Mrs. Meyer's basil soap. Even as I write this. I feel it. Yuk. I've never had a soap with a scent that won't wash off.

I've been using this hand soap in 12 oz bottles for years. It's not the same product. I immediately noticed a difference in consistency as I poured this soap from the 33 ounce container. It's MUCH thinner. The aroma of basil, which I love, is barely noticeable. I can only assume that this is a significantly diluted version of the soap I ordered. This hand soap does not dry out hands. For those who wash their hands more than 20 times a day, this is the best option. After washing, hands are thoroughly cleaned. I don't have to apply cream every time I wash my hands. The aroma is also very pleasant. Too bad the liquid is a different color. Now the only color is light yellow. The bottle is very very small. Don't let the photo fool you. So it's relatively expensive in terms of size and money. But I will buy it again and recommend it.

I am trying this brand for the first time and am a fan so far. This scent is really fresh and clean, it's perfect for hand soap because it's not too feminine or floral so my husband likes it too. The consistency is a bit thinner than the soap I usually use, but it lathers well. I've added some photos to see the size. I've filled two Dial bottles and I think I can fill two or three more. The upper part is also practical for refilling with a small hole and a hinged lid.
