This was an amazing item. He squeezes the egg out with little effort; I would stay closer to the base and not to the end of the handles. I lost my metal wire egg slicer so I tried this gadget for fun. I want the squares to be 2-3 times larger so that they are close in size to cubes of lettuce. But if you want to mix almost goulash (mayonnaise and/or dressing and maybe diced tuna and lettuce) into the salad, this is a very good choice.

I like this egg slicer. I hesitated when the parole officer said it was difficult to use, but it's not at all.
