I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

One of MSI's highest performance TOP gaming motherboards of 2022 with LGA1200 processor socket and flagship Intel Z490 chipset. It is a superbly equipped full size ATX board from the MSI Performance Gaming family that fully supports 2-, 4-, 6-, 8- and 10-core Intel Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron 8th and 9th generations with Comet Lake microarchitecture (14nm process technology). Equipped with a reinforced 14-phase processor power subsystem with additional aluminum radiators that cool…

Pros
  • Excellent build quality. Good equipment. Excellent food system (12+1+1) Understandable bios Convenient msi applications xmp profiles Reliability Convenient and easy acceleration Integrated Wi-Fi 6 with MU-mimo technology memory frequency 4800 MHz Number of M.2 connectors -2 NVMe support Network adapter speed - 2500 Mbps Sound scheme-7.1 Realtek ALC1200-VD1 2 x USB 3.2 Gen1, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type C, 4 x USB 2.0 1 x USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 Type C, 2 x USB 2.0, 4 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type A

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Excellent motherboard. The kit includes two WI-FI antennas. A solid complete radiator on the upper M.2 (-15 degrees compared to the previous MP without a radiator), excellent massive radiators on all the main elements. 14 phases of CPU power - not bad for overclocking the CPU. There is enough USB (there is 3.2 gen2), an excellent implementation of RGB backlighting - unobtrusive and stylish, which is conveniently configured with proprietary software. High-quality, stylish board with good…

Pros
  • Build quality, quality of the component base, good CPU power supply and high-quality cooling for stable overclocking, a sufficient number of ports and expansion slots, design
Cons
  • no (except perhaps the rather weak ALC1200 audio system, although I did not notice a difference with more expensive solutions).

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Shortly after a month: Norm mother for their grandmother. Pitalovo: 6 reel phases, 12 mosfets, 720 A per CPU. But! In fact: I inserted the memory, overclocked it -> I forgot, I inserted 10700, the car ran to 4.8-5 -> I forgot (no). Hands 5.2, it turned out, but dark rock stopped coping, here water is needed and the case is different)) The mother feels fine, no overheating. Surprisingly, this is the memory (it doesn’t need anything else): HyperX Predator RGB [HX432C16PB3AK2 / 16] 16 GB took…

Pros
  • Pros: - Not a gigabyte. IMHO - Price. It may seem strange, but on z490 with wifi - this mother is the most adequate choice for the price (at the time of my purchase and review). - Build quality. Nothing rattles or wobbles anywhere. - Bios for people, opened, overclocked, forgot. If it didn’t work out, the software will roll back the settings - ideally who will take it for the first time. - Network card 2.5, not intel but also good. - A bunch of ports cover all needs - Additional hole on the power supply under the percent. Well, everything is in the description. Mother for those who do not want to dance with a tambourine.
Cons
  • Cons: - The sound could be better, but this realtek is good for requests of 90% of users, the remaining 10% have an external device for many thousands, so do not listen to any reviewers who scold it. - There is no dual bios, although you already want to pay for these grandmothers, but this function didn’t give up to anyone. - 10700 - probably the ceiling if you drive prots. Above - it is better to look directly at ACE. Although it would be desirable already in this price category. - According to the scheme, this is practically the same z390. ! will not pull firewood on the Internet ! Download from internet :)

Very good motherboard.

After hours of searching I chose this board for my first build. I know there are many other boards that are cheaper. However, I wanted the product to be durable and versatile. This product is marked for my needs/desires. Gen 1 and 2 USB 3.2 ports, Type-C ports, heat shield for my M.2 drive. For connectivity, it has a 2.5G port as well as wireless connectivity. It supports overclocking, which I don't think so, but it does. My build is only a week old but I haven't had any issues

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some little things

Lots of peripheral ports for expansion.

Good motherboard. Mystic RGB lights work great. There are no problems with the board, everything went as expected. Except that it comes with DVD instead of USB, which shocks me. I had to copy the network drivers to USB to install the ethernet and then I just downloaded the drivers from the MSI website. I like that the board has indicators for troubleshooting CPU, memory, and disk issues. However, please resolve delivery issues. You lost the first batch and a new batch has just been shipped in…

I'm glad I chose this mboard!

I needed to build an updated workstation and the Z490 boards had just been introduced so many of the reviews were based on manufacturer stats and some supposed testing. It all came down to this mobile device and Asus for another $100. God I'm glad I saved the Hondo and chose this board. I don't game or run Windows, but all features worked great with the latest Linux distro. The z490 boards are fast, the 10th gen Intel processor is fast, and hell, this setup is a math athlete. It's only been a…

I'm sure it's a good board but it doesn't work with my i9-10850K

I ordered this board with high hopes. Other components were pretty solid: an 850W power adapter, 32GB of 32MHz DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SSD, and an Intel i9-10850 processor. When building such a system, it should just work. However, it suffered from random BSODs, freezes and resets. First I replaced the motherboard with a new MSI, then the RAM, then the SSD, then in a pinch the PSU, which is the least likely risk of failure. Then I came across a post from a guy who was having the same issue with the…

Bit strange BIOS setup

I have never used MSI products before but decided to try this mobo after my ASUS board died last month. The board contained a USB drive with a driver installer that I couldn't get to work with a clean install of Win10, so I had to revert to my old Win10 SSD from the ASUS board as I didn't have the ethernet driver installed. After some trouble I got the old Win10 to work with the MSI board so I could download the latest drivers from the MSI website, boot into the new Win10 and install the…
