Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

The mat board is excellent, there were no problems with it in operation, but the squeak did not suit me and I returned it, at the time of the return there was no replacement, but I would take another copy. Definitely, this is not a budget, but a top-end board from MSI on the B550, there is also a classic version with 4 memory slots without the -X prefix. The board boots quickly, performance is even better than my old X370. The BIOS is ated very quickly, new test versions are constantly…

Pros
  • Simultaneously working: two nvme at x4 speed, x16 graphics port and two x1 slots - which is really convenient. A very heavy heatsink on the VRM modules and the board is quite heavy in general, Honest power phases without doublers, which is a big plus. Buttons for power on, reset (reset), reset BIOS (Clear CMOS), error indicator (2-character), immediately mounted rear port panel. WIFI AX, though there are only two antennas and 2x2 - a cool moment that the remote antenna can be mounted on the wall and hang headphones on it, the length of the wire may not be enough, but the idea itself is a plus :) Two slots for memory modules - a good topology, close to the CPU slot, usually two more slots that are empty do not give interference during overclocking. Very large memory module compatibility list! In general, the board is designed specifically for overclocking memory. 4 nvme slots, not everyone will need it, but they are made to last - there is a full-fledged stand or shelf on which the nvme board is placed, now comparing with other boards it is clear that this is a big plus, because the disk does not bend during installation. Thermal pads are pre-installed. A kit for a desktop launch of the board - it's not clear why it is, but it is there :) See the photo. Not a high price for such characteristics. No RGB! :)
Cons
  • No RGB :) Two slots for memory modules - now it is already clear that 2-rank modules give a performance boost to Ryzen, so for this board you need to look for dual-rank memory modules, but, for example, the new Crucial Ballistix MAX memory is all peer-to-peer - even modules on 16Gb, and other manufacturers will have to look and choose. The nvme heatsink, located next to the first graphics port "from above", prevents the lock on this x16 slot from being unlocked, on the other hand, the fan of the video card itself interferes and you can't get there at all because of the lower nvme heatsinks. Removing a card is inconvenient. Radiators nvme - backlash without disks installed in them, it turns out to rattle, although they sat tightly out of the box and did not sound. The squeak of power chokes, the problem is not directly massive - but it occurs quite often all over the world, i. E. for different parties. You can just search for the word unify-x coil whine, there are topics, even on the official MSI forum. So far, users receive replacement boards and there is no more squeak. My copy squeaked very loudly in games, and in the AIDA64 cache test there was even a very loud whistle in the copy test, even with a weak processor and a video card with an x1 slot - there was still a squeak at minimal load. Previously, it was found that the pressure of the radiator on the VRM and the thermal pads there are insufficient, one user experienced, i. E. at random - I found out which module squeaks while pressing each finger in the load :) it turned out that the VRM modules were soldered differently in height and the pressure was uneven. In general, the squeak does not affect performance or performance, but it is worth considering.

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I also liked the MSI Mystic backlight control, which has a lot of programmed effects from rainbows to lightning, I'm still waiting for fans to replace the case ones and combine all the backlighting into a single composition + it also fits the Adata s40g hard SSD (it now pulsates like a heart in the center of the board just fire!

Pros
  • Great card for overclocking. I took an AMD Ryzen 5800x 3700 processor and DDR4 2 * 32GB (3600Mhz) RAM for overclocking. Everything went off with a bang, the protsik was overclocked to 4850 MHz, and the RAM was overclocked to 4066. There is a good MSI DRAGON CENTER utility for this card, I advise everyone who has MSI products. Everything you need to control and manage the motherboard is there. And as always, there is a dragon on the motherboard, as soon as I throw out the card, I will tear it off and there will be a figurine on the stand. Slot m_2 under 4.0 next to the processor install hard Adata there + immediately took dropsy 360R during a difficult test in osst and at the same time the temperature did not rise above 89.5 degrees
Cons
  • the location of the additional power supply on the PCE connector, well, or my case is such that it rests on an additional fan that cools the power supply.

Excellent product, the best quality.

It also fits the Adata s40g hard SSD (which now pulses like a heart in the center of the board and just fires! ), which I also liked. The MSI Mystic backlight control also has a lot of programmed effects, ranging from rainbows to lightning. I'm still waiting for case fans to replace the ones in the case.

Pros
  • Excellent card for overclocking. For overclocking, I used an AMD Ryzen 5800x 3700 processor with DDR4 2 * 32GB (3600Mhz) Memory. The protsik was overclocked to 4850 MHz, and the RAM was overclocked to 4066 MHz. Everything worked flawlessly. With this card, there is a good MSI DRAGON CENTER tool that I recommend to everybody who owns MSI equipment. There is everything you require to manage and control the motherboard. Moreover, there is a dragon on the motherboard, which I will rip off as soon as I toss out the card and place the figure on the stand. Hard Adata was installed in slot m 2 under 4.0 adjacent to the processor, and after that, the system took dropsy 360R during a challenging test in osst while maintaining a temperature of 89.5 degrees.
Cons
  • In my situation, the additional power supply is situated on top of a second fan that cools the power supply on the PCE connector.

Beast board fits inside

Doesn't work in the box! But this motherboard didn't cause any problems, so I'm using a non-X motherboard as well since I'm building two systems! I used a different motherboard from a different manufacturer and it just won't work for me! I don't want to say anything bad because it could just be my luck! But this MB just worked! It costs about $300 with taxes, but if you can sell it you won't be disappointed! I have paired with a Corsair Dominator 32GB 5800 x 3090 Gigabyte Gamer! So far it works

Pros
  • Supports AMD Ryzen 5000 and 3000 desktop processors (not compatible with AMD Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G) and AMD Ryzen 4000 G-series desktop processors
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Likes to overclock weird memory timings: Edit: Unify-x has the best heatsinks at the moment. Consumers typically find aluminum or composite heatsinks on their motherboards. I noticed that MSI was the first to put GRAPHITE in their boards, as far as I know it's only found in the B550 Unify-x. After removing the m.2 shield, I checked its thermal conductivity and applied the same technique to the remaining heatsinks. Of course, graphite can be found all over the board, which shows excellent heat…

Pros
  • Premium Thermal Solution: Aluminum cover with optional 7W/μΩ choke thermal pad and 2oz thick copper circuit board are designed for high system performance and uninterrupted gaming.
Cons
  • Has bug
