Smaller than a giant: Baking molds

They're supposed to be giants, but the demands are actually somewhat higher. They are too small for large holes in muffin tins.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Great value, best bakeware

Like. You can put the same amount of batter that you would normally put in regular cupcake paper, but the cupcake will rise to the top and you'll end up with a larger cupcake. It is also very nice if you add toppings to the cupcake.

  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Nothing

They won't fit in a large pot

Made nacho cupcakes for my son's birthday when we made chalkboard nachos. They are the perfect size between a standard sized cupcake and a giant cupcake. At the same time, I baked them in a standard form for cupcakes.

Incorrect caption.

So I ordered 100 large muffin tins and got 500 regular muffin tins instead. And since the original product label says "500 White Bakeware," I'm pretty sure someone decided to just stick the wrong label on them and package them. They're not expensive, so that's ok. But I'm not very good at making cupcakes with it in my large cupcake pan. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

The more the better. That's the truth about these muffin pans.

I've always preferred these muffin tins to the small tins for a number of reasons. ( 1 ) I'd rather eat a JUMBO muffin than several smaller ones. (2) I also prefer to bake 1/2 dozen JUMBO cupcakes, which avoids baking too many smaller cupcakes that can go stale and spoil. ( 3 ) There is another benefit to using these JUMBO cupcake pans. Their size allows me to use more toppings such as real fruit - blueberries - tangerine slices - raisins and chocolate. Potato Chips. bottom line. I can bake…

Great Jumbo Paper Cups

These paper muffin cups work as advertised. I was impressed that they sat right in the cupcake pan without curling which made filling so much easier! I made two different types of cupcakes and both came out of the paper easily and there was no mess left. The liners also baked evenly and weren't crispy around the edges when I took them out of the oven like some were. They have worked for me and I love being able to get them when I need them instead of having to search the stores to see if they…

Other reviews rave about these liners but I...

Other reviews rave about these liners but I have to say I have issues. First of all I should add that I am 65 years old and I have been baking since I was a child, I am not a beginner. These liners stick to cupcakes. It's often so bad that you peel off the cake layer when you remove the foil. Sometimes a thin layer of liner sticks to the cupcake itself. They seem TOO thin. Personally, I'll be on the lookout for a different strain for my next purchase. I can say they save you the hassle of…

Fits a regular sized muffin pan but makes larger muffins and muffins

They are like thin parchment, not very strong but can stand on their own if you fill them. The diameter is just over 2 inches, allowing me to use a regular sized cupcake pan and bake 8 large cupcakes out of a box. Not jumbo sized like Dunkin Donuts (you need 3 diameters for them and you need a bigger pan) but larger than a regular cupcake. Some leaves will stick together, wet your fingertips, and be easier to separate. Just in case, I sprinkled the bottom of the pam lightly to keep the cupcakes
