The updated version of this case is great

So I was skeptical about this purchase based on some of the reviews here but I'm glad I chose this case so thought I'd give this review to maybe help someone One of the big points about these cases was that people said you have to snap off the card slot covers and you can't replace them if you take them out, but now they've updated that so they can be removed easily and replaced if you accidentally removed the wrong one. The case is solidly built, looks like a high-end case and the best part is

Seems like a decent case at first but after everything was hooked up the fan control board wasn't working tried contacting support and just got refused. Save yourself from heartache, go with something else.

Prevents the motherboard from controlling the fans

The case is decent. However, the fan controller is proprietary and cannot connect to any motherboard I have used or know of. It uses a weird 12V 3-pin connector that I've never seen on a motherboard.

I got this as a birthday present and it was the first time I used this brand. I love this case, a very nice update to my old Antec. Airflow is excellent and there's a good range of RGB colors/patterns to choose from. A fan controller that adds a VDI input to your motherboard saves on scarce motherboard fan inputs. RGB fans are loud and dead

That's the great thing about this case. You could afford a little more in this price range. The fans are as loud as can be, the ARGB which should work stopped dying 1 week after putting the case on. It was a pain getting the Aura to work with the software, constant fumbling just to get fans to change. The lights looked great when they worked. RGB controller is rubbish

Solid and well designed case, good fans and nice addition. However, when connected to the ROG motherboard's 5V 3-pin ARGB header (as recommended by the manufacturer), the RGB controller board was not recognized by the Aura software and almost immediately began to to go haywire and stop functioning.
