This adapter worked without any problems in my Dell Optiplex 3020. Thanks to the comment in the product review; I made sure all the wires were attached to each of the harnesses by gently tugging on each wire. Everything was nice and tight. I was able to install the EVGA SUPERNOVA 650G2 80+G power supply without any problems. When attaching the PSU to the PC case, you need to apply slight pressure to the PSU to align the screw holes. Received the goods on time, but that's about the way it is. Plugged the adapter into a PC only to find it didn't work. I ended up cutting the sleeve off the circuit board only to find that it was soldered back to front. It was supposed to take a 5 volt wire and boost it to 12 volts, but since it was reversed it did nothing. As you can see from the photos I cut and spliced the wires together to make the adapter work.
