Mxmoonant Mist Maker 350Ml/H: Perfect For Halloween Party Decorations & Water Fountains! Review

Purchased this item, and also a House of Hydro mister which I haven't gotten yet. I plan on comparing them. So far, the Mxmoonant works very well. I wish the white float & splash guard were black & not so visible. The splash guard's construction is a tad cheesy but it works! More mist than I expected. We'll see if the House of Hydro gives off more mist or is comparable.Mist-Off to come!One last thing, it wasn't very quick in arriving.

I was pleasantly surprised when this turned out to be such a good deal.The housing holds the mister and the lid keeps the extra splashing from flying out of the container. I really like that the housing is a separate piece and when the mister eventually wears out I can swap in a new one. The housing also comes apart so if the mister gets stuck in it after long use, it would be easy to take it apart, clean it and get it loose. This little mist maker creates quite a bit of fog given its size. My favorite thing about it is that this mist maker comes with a nice little float that keeps it at the perfect water level for optimum fog output and it even comes with extra ceramic disks and a little tool to help when you replace them. 3 disks in addition to the one already in the fogger is enough to last a long time, probably a few years if the mist maker itself isn’t too abused.

I’ve had a few of these mist makers over the last few years and most of them are pretty identical. This one however, seems to outperform all other units I’ve purchased.This unit does not include built in LED lights, but I was specifically looking for one without them built in so I can add my own to whatever I use it for. This mist maker really provides a lot of mist, comes with a float that makes sure its always at the right depth, and extra disks and tools to keep the item running. I've only had these (I bought 2) for less than a month, and while they appear to be amazing from the start, I don't know how long they will actually last. Also, the package of replacement ceramic discs was missing the "key" for disc replacement, otherwise I might have given this product a full five stars. This is a teacup-sized mini-mister. It uses an ultrasonic generator to make mist from the body of water it floats in.In a small bowl (12-18" wide) the fog effect will look like dry ice, burbling and flowing over the edges of the bowl, but anything larger than that and the mist dissipates too quickly. So far I am very pleased with this device. I plugged it on and it worked. Over all the device seems well made but I didn't give it 5 stars because the plastic splash guard is flimsy. It's nice to have it, but it could have been a little more sturdy.

Power supply burned out in less than a week… I had previously bought some more expensive ones but bought this to hopefully save some money…I will be returning and purchasing from house of hydro. I recommend you save your money and do the same.

The fogger works well, but it needs clean water. Bought to use in a terrarium, so the water was not sparkling clean. The little "hut” that holds the disc reminds me of the plastic table that comes on a pizza.

Did not work. I go through a couple of these a year but this was the first time that I purchased this brand. Apparently, although they all tend to look pretty similar, some are made better than others. This unit was dead on arrival. I returned it for store credit. Other users may have better luck but I will not be purchasing this brand again.

This mister is absolutely great! It worked right out of the box once I set it up. It comes with a water guard, but, I chose not to use it. I placed the mister in a cauldron I had and it worked perfectly. I liked the fact that the water splashed a little, it gave the impression that whatever was in the cauldron was boiling, hence the mist. Loved it!

Works exceptionally well at raising the humidity around my plants. Produces a decent fog and discs are easy to replace.

I purchased a plastic one before this and it broke in 3 days. This one comes with replacements, been running it for over a week still going strong.

I have two mist makers in the container and a variable speed muffin fan blowing down. This is a perfect low cost humidifier. I run it about 6 hrs per day in a 20 x 30 room proving about one gallon into air. No leaks, no noise, no residue. Perfect.
