You're spending your $30-50 on training systems that need a 100+ foot line of sight. This unit has a range that I haven't fully tested beyond 0.5 miles, but only my hunting collars ($300+ each) have more range. They have good settings and control 3 collars. Very happy with the price, the only complaint is that the horn is silent but it is actually waterproof which is good compensation for the silent horn.

I like it, it works but had trouble connecting the collar to the remote control. I expected them to come together with a connection. This is my only complaint. I think this is the best training tool you can get! I have a 160 lb guard dog and he jumps over our 7ft fence when predators approach us. I have not found anywhere else with such a large selection!
