📏 Triton 400 Pocket Scale by My Weigh Review

I use this scale for gold and silver jewelry. I have a 100 gram weight from my last scale and am using it to check this scale. Scales work well, I recommend.

The battery compartment is cheaply built and does not stay closed tight enough for the batteries to press against the inside of the panel causing them to touch the surface before the 4 lugs touch.

This is a small but very useful scale. I mainly use it for weighing my morning coffee beans. Works fine for that. With a 400g range, I can use many small containers. I have never used the guarantee - I throw it away and order another.

Overall a good scale for the price. The buttons are a bit tricky to figure out, and calibrating them turned out to be a little harder than I expected. But after a few weeks of use, it retained its calibration and did its job well.

DON'T BUY THE PACKAGE TOGETHER FREQUENTLY! In that little note at the bottom of the page, under the scale, the weight is 100g + 200g. A new customer (like me) would assume that these weights are what is needed to properly calibrate this scale, IT IS NOT! We need weights from 2-200g, so be very careful when ordering based on what others often buy together. If I had read a little deeper I would have seen other Q&A+ reviews pointing out that 2 x 200g = 400g is the correct required calibration…
