MyLifeUNIT Japanese Skimmer Stainless Strainer Review

I was very skeptical that this strainer only removes oil from soups/stews. I made the albóndiga (meatballs) stew and as expected the meat came out with lots of oil. I used it to degrease the surface of a saucepan and was amazed at how easily it cleaned the stew. I tried it in spots where there was no oil to see if it would pick up liquid and it didn't. I am so happy with my purchase as I can now wash dishes and save my family the hassle of eating unnecessary oils and stews.

This thing is amazing! Making my first stash since purchase and removing the foam from the surface is very easy now! A simple, cheap, effective little tool - if you cook soups and broths on a regular basis you're going to need one of these. Feels a little thin, but should it really be different? UPDATE: After about 4 camp rounds I am just as satisfied as after the first one. It's so easy to remove scale/foam from the broth and leave all the liquid. I'm not sure why it took me so long to get one

Seriously if you are looking for kitchen tools that you can use to teach your kids how to work in the kitchen. Then it is good for them to PLAY. You can hurt yourself!
