Would buy again!

I love this belt! Bought this for my five year old son and it fits perfectly. It is very easy to take off and put back on. Would I buy again if he needs a larger size.

Pros
  • I bought this for my 3 year old grandson and it worked like a charm... He can put the belt on and off himself.
Cons
  • Only available in black, which limits the ability to combine with different outfits.

Rate my verdict - my new rating

My son wears 5T everywhere. Shirts, shorts, pajamas, pants, jeans, etc. But the 5T belt didn't wrap around his waist. He needed it for school on Monday, very disappointing. If it would fit it would be 5 stars. Great idea, just too small

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • It may be difficult for a child to attach the Velcro on their own, requiring constant adult assistance.

Good belts. I can't really rate the product yet.

Good belts. I can't really appreciate a product until it's been used. I bought school uniforms for my twins and school hasn't started yet. Seems durable and easy to use.

Pros
  • It was a slightly lighter shade of brown than I expected but still beautiful.
Cons
  • The harness may not be sufficiently adjustable for a growing child.

great idea my opinion

I was very excited about this product when I saw it on Shark Tank. Later I came across it on ebay and bought a 5T. My boy is 3 years old and the 5T barely fits leaving very little room for a kid with a large waist. My boy is by no means fat but a tall boy unfortunately I don't think we will benefit much from this product.

Pros
  • Very easy to use and now my son enjoys dressing himself. It's easy to walk when nature calls. :)
Cons
  • Some children prefer straps with traditional buckles over Velcro.

Perfect for my little guy

This is the second one I've bought for my preschooler. The little man is too big for the jeans that fit around his waist so he needed a belt. It's easy to put on in the morning and he has no problem with it during the day. Savior!

Pros
  • It's easy for my son to undress himself. Thanks.
Cons
  • The strap may not be strong enough to withstand daily wear and tear.

so happy with me

This strap is perfect for small hands. My grandson, the new kindergarten child, is so happy with himself. Wide range of colours, patterns and sizes.

Pros
  • Great strap for small hands.
Cons
  • The belt can become difficult to clean or maintain over time.

favorite belt! in my rating

These belts are fantastic. I bought 3 as my son was in kindergarten. They're easy to use for little hands rushing to the potty! Unfortunately I had to send it back twice in this case. I ordered a size 6 and received twice a size 4T in a size 6 bag. ebay didn't offer to replace it with the correct item after the second time so I went straight to the Myself Belt site to order.

Pros
  • Works great and my grandson can make it himself. It keeps the pants from falling off his slender hips.
Cons
  • The harness can irritate the baby's skin and cause discomfort or a rash.

Ideal for the little ones who need a belt.

It turned out to be the perfect purchase for my preschooler. He does not yet know how to fasten other belts, but the belt is a mandatory part of his school uniform. This belt is easy to attach and will not wear out thanks to the button closure. I'm glad we got this one.

Pros
  • Was a bit big but went up a size than his previous one which was too tight. Better loose than tight and not pinching.
Cons
  • Turns out really small

Ideal for intermediate sizes

Perfect for my 3 year old potty training boy. It's in-between sizes, eliminating the hassle of finding custom sizes for large, lean three-year-old wheat that still fits 24-month-old shredded wheat. Pooh

Pros
  • These belts are a must have for my kids. They have to wear belts at school, which makes it easier for them to go to the toilet.
Cons
  • This is the second time I buy these straps. Honestly I like the idea of velcro but they are very small

Holds up my baby's pants

This belt just works. Finally my baby's pants stay in place. The magnet broke after falling on the first day of use, but who cares? This belt is darn adjustable, great value and comes with a second belt. I just coated the magnet with E6000 glue so it wouldn't go anywhere. Did I mention my baby's pants won't roll up?

Pros
  • Awesome, perfect for my little hands!
Cons
  • The Velcro can loosen over time, causing the strap to constantly slip or loosen.

Nice quality, easy to use

Ideal belt for toddlers or seniors who need a basic belt. Simply attach one end to the belt loop with a button and then all they have to do is use the Velcro side to buckle and fasten the belt. super easy. Got this for my 6 year old who has a small waist. It was difficult to find a suitable belt and he has to wear it to school. What kid would want to fiddle with belt buckles when they only have a minute to go to the bathroom at school? The brown canvas is of good quality, looks good and matches

Pros
  • This is a big step towards independence for my 6 year old!
Cons
  • The belt may not be appropriate for formal or dressy occasions.

The belt is easy to use and keeps the pants in place.

It seems to work. My grandson is 4 ½ years old and goes to kindergarten. He is slim so he needs 5T in length and 4T in waist. The belt is easy to use and keeps the pants in place.

Pros
  • Large! Easy to use
Cons
  • The belt may not be strong enough to hold heavy pants or clothing.

Super easy to use - my new review

My kid needs a belt for her school uniform so I wanted something she could easily work on. It fits the bill 100%, she can easily zip and unzip it herself, would definitely recommend for young children!

Pros
  • Exactly what I was looking for but too small
Cons
  • May not fit all body types which may cause discomfort or improper fit.

Ideal for special needs!

I bought it for my daughter to wear to school. She is in 1st grade but has problems with a normal belt. We bought this for her to have a belt on her uniform and it was perfect. It has a beautiful silver faux button on the front to make it look like a real belt. I plan to buy more! Great fit too.

Pros
  • This saved my life, my 5 year old has to wear a belt to school and this allows him to be independent!
Cons
  • little work

My 4 year old belt likes it lighter.

My 4 year old loves the harness, it comes off easier than a regular harness. He wears regular belts, but always prefers this one.

Pros
  • Ideal
Cons
  • The belt can become static electricity, especially when worn with certain fabrics.

It works, a 3 year old uses it alone in preschool!

I've been waiting to review this product to see if a 3 year old can really do it on his own at school. It's been 2 weeks and this belt worked great! It's pricey, but it's nice to pay $20 for a baby dish that actually works and that your little one can make themselves. I really don't like it when the pants come off the kid and the underwear is showing, that's a great solution.

Pros
  • What a cool idea!!! With three children in the house, that's salvation!!!
Cons
  • The strap may become loose during strenuous physical activity or play.

Perfect for the little ones!

This is the perfect belt for my 6 year old. He must wear the school uniform, which requires a belt. I was reluctant to get a regular belt in case he couldn't unbuckle and fasten it himself (his first year in a traditional school since I was homeschooling him for kindergarten). I want his day to run as smoothly as possible so he can focus on his studies and make new friends. The "lightweight belts" for kids that I found were big and bulky and frankly ugly. So I kept looking until I found these…

Pros
  • My son who just turned 5 feels like a big boy in this belt. And unzips easily so going to the toilet is no problem.
Cons
  • The Velcro can wear out or fray, making it difficult to fasten the belt.

Overall very satisfied

In general very satisfied. A 4.5 year old child is very easy to use. Plus, he doesn't lose it! I just wish it had a little more velcro for "grow with me" stuff. Pretty expensive not to use it for several years.

Pros
  • Easy to use for my 6 year old
Cons
  • The Velcro may not be strong enough to hold the strap in place

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Waste of money the best in my rating

It only has a small velcro to close it. You can only use this if it's just right for your child. You can't customize it properly. Don't waste your money unless you want to sew a larger piece of velcro on it.

Pros
  • Now there are no accidents due to the inability to unbuckle the belt
Cons
  • The belt wears out quickly and needs to be replaced frequently.
