Ideal solution: Spare parts and accessories for vacuum cleaners

Perfect! The central vacuum said I couldn't use an extension cord, but I went ahead and took a chance! Glad you did! Now I can vacuum the back of the room with this extension.

Not compatible with Beam Vac

Although the manufacturer has asked and answered a question, it does not work with the Beam Central Vac. You cannot plug the blast hose into an outlet because the pins do not line up with the holes.

Doesn't support high or low voltage for Beam, but.

I didn't want to spend another $200 to buy a longer hose. This is the only option if you need high voltage support as this power strip does not. However, due to what I'm missing in my house, I'm willing to live with only low voltage work (to turn the central vacuum on and off). See Beam Male Connector in the photo. To do this I had to remove one of the three mounting screws in the Nadair bushing and drill two 7/64" holes on each side of it (close up). I was then able to connect the two (another
