Antenna mount conforms to description, antenna is twisted well, everything works. My carburetor angle is a bit more acute than I would like, but it works fine.

Used with ham radio in my 1996 BMW Z3 Convertible. I can't use a magnetic mount so this works great and greatly increases the range of my radio.

Be very careful not to overtighten the antenna when attaching it to the bracket as the connector can break quite easily. It has withstood normal use with a 15 inch whip but I would be wary of putting anything larger on it.

Very good reception. You install it in a car window and it shuts tight. I've had experience with magnetic mounts ruining my painting over time (felt bottom or not). a good product.

The one I received has the ends of the connector reversed. The long tail had a female, and on the side of the horse was chain mail. This is the opposite of every popular Ham Radio HT script. One reviewer recommended adapters, but any database loss is critical with this device. Two high-quality adapters and you lose almost 3 dB. I returned it.

I bought this product to use with my Baofeng radios. I didn't use it for its intended purpose on the car. I used it indoors to extend the range of my radio. Sometimes the transfer can be difficult. Using the antenna indoors has greatly improved my ability to communicate. This is a good product for those who need extra range but don't have the option to mount an external antenna. I bought this almost exactly 11 months ago. Used regularly but not every day. The antenna on the window mount was installed and not removed. The radio at the other end has been taken off and on regularly, but always treated well (never screwed in/out, just holding cable). On a hot day I unscrewed it from the radio and the whole faucet fell apart.
