Guaranteed to embarrass you reading this book in public

I bought this book for my wife for Christmas and then had to sit jealously while she giggled, giggled, snorted and yelled while she read this book. When she finished the book and gave it to me to read, I now knew what she was laughing at. Sedaris' antics with his dysfunctional Greek-American family are guaranteed to make you laugh. Good memoir, but not enough to be a funny book

Naked sat on my shelf for at least a year before I decided to read it. I have a bad habit of not reading books after I've bought them, so that shouldn't surprise me. As a memoir, The Nude is an incredibly good collection of autobiographical essays. As you make your way through Naked, you just don't believe in the dysfunctional Sedaris family.
