This seems to be a very bad case. I bought it to store the essentials (first aid kit) that I keep in my trunk. For that it works fine. It's not big enough to take up trunk space, but big enough to fit everything I needed. It's a tight fit but it works for me as the products inside don't rattle. It might be overkill for my purposes (it's a lot of hard work), but I'd rather have something overpowered than the other way around. I chose the version without overlays.

The first thing I did was cut a hole in the side of this suitcase, waterproof means nothing to me. I needed a hard case for my distributor (Testo) to prevent it from crashing in my work truck and being pulled off the roof along with a bunch of other equipment. My roommate had a pelican and they are top notch. I have Nanux. They are stronger and the locking handles are safer and easier to use than the Pelican. Whenever I open the Pelican, I feel like I'll snap a nail or scratch myself because the latches are too hard to pull. With the Nanuk it closes tightly but there is another simpler clasp that you press which makes locking very easy. I have a feeling a kid could safely snap and open the Nanucks but not the Pelican. Great lightweight fasteners, sturdy foam. Both the Nanook and its well-known competitors are strong, waterproof, very durable and offer excellent foam protection.
