I have headphones with a built in microphone and thought I could use both audio and microphone from my PC. But no, it didn't help me. When connecting a microphone, the sound is interrupted and the microphone distorts.

Has been working properly for 2 months, the headphones only play in one ear. I bought it for my computer, I plugged it in once and didn't move it (treated well) and it stopped working after about 2 months. I can't return as it's only available for 1 month. Just spend the extra money and get something better.

As said, "it is what it is". I knew what I needed and couldn't go outside to buy so I bought online. It's shorter than what I can buy in store and can buy for less if I buy in store, but due to the Covid-19 lockdown it seems all my electronics are failing and I've had to buy online from a slightly higher end Price. Ok I got it in a week and "it is what it is"

Pros - Pretty easy to use for those of you who need a splitter for those pesky 4 pin thermal phones/headsets. - Great price for this product, does the job! Cons: The covers around the 3.5mm jacks can be a bit slippery as they are made of smooth metal. But really, it's just my quibbles. 9.5/10

The female side of the jack is very tight, so the end of your headphone jack has to snap into place with a lot more force than I'm used to. I tested this with 3 different headphones. Next, the splitter is not working properly. Not only did this reduce the quality of the mic output to all of my headphones, but the mic would switch on and off intermittently, making it impossible to pick…

Either the contacts are bad or there is a short circuit. I'm sitting here listening to music and suddenly the volume goes down. I touch the wire and become static, then the sound magically comes back. I worked in an electronics store for 15 years, opening and using hundreds if not thousands of cables and not a single defective one ending up in the box. They are also a lot thinner than they appear in the picture.

I had gaming headphones plugged into a USB converter. The converter broke and I couldn't find another one. The headset used a 4 segment 35mm jack, so I decided to give it a try. Although the thickness seems a bit heavy. They don't just want to connect to my front panel. Do the job, you just have to put some pressure on it. All in all I am very satisfied for what I paid.
