This is the first hydro jacket I have ever bought. I'm a tall woman (size 18w/190lbs) so I dropped one of the women's specific models because I was concerned about the fit. I wore it for a 10 mile run on day one and I loved it! Anything I was worried about (like hopping on my back/causing back pain, chafing, feeling heavy, pinched straps, etc.) wasn't a problem at all! It was comfortable, had plenty of pockets for everything I needed and wasn't overly bulky at all. I suggest releasing all theโ€ฆ

The water tank seems solid and I haven't had any leaks in a few months.

vest as written light not hot and quick drying. Little storage space, but that's why I wanted it. The water tank feels solid and I haven't had any leaks in a few months of use. I wish the water valve would allow me to compress it to release water instead of just using it as a bite valve. My only complaint is that the side straps don't stay in place. It's fine unless you run 16 miles and feel them rubbing your hands. The elastic bands that secure the ends do not stay in place, and the sideโ€ฆ

Excellent purchase. Still satisfied after 18 months.

Outstanding. Super comfortable, functional, enough pockets and affordable. The best I've found. Much better than any other lap belt and hydrator I've tried over the years. For me a phenomenal purchase and a great price. I will say that you want to experiment with how to wear it so that it fits you best and where all the fasteners are properly placed, away from the body and not chafing. At longer distances you notice the little things and because they are so adjustable I found the perfect fitโ€ฆ

Finally! Great package!

I've walked over 10 miles with this backpack and it's awesome! I've trained and run several marathons/half marathons with a four water bottle water belt and this thing is absolutely awful. The strap slips everywhere, water bottles keep falling or dripping/spilling everywhere, storage space is minimal and overall not a good solution. This pack solves all those problems! I particularly like: #1 The backpack is very stable and doesn't slip. I had 2 liters of water in this thing and you don'tโ€ฆ

Great Hydration Vest+ (Storage)

They say you can't try anything new on race day. I decided to drop this advice for my first ultramarathon trail run in Big Bend. I was nervous about it, but this vest has proven itself in every way. This is my first Nathan product and I am happy with the quality. Water. The two liter capacity was ample and I had some left over when I filled the water halfway. I was pleasantly surprised by the chest strap with clip for attaching the bite valve. Very intuitive and keeps it where you need it andโ€ฆ

My favorite moisturizer!

Since November 2014 (now 22nd August 2015) I have tried 3 different hydration packs. my back and it was a bit harder to fill. I then tried Nathan in April 2015 because it seemed to have decent retention and good reviews. So let's get started... 1. STORAGE. Beyond expectations. The front left zippered pocket holds my Samsung Galaxy S5 with Hyperion Extended Life Battery and Bumper Case. It's a little tight, but it holds up. A NOTICE. There is a small pocket on the front of the zip pocket forโ€ฆ

Great hydration pack with a few small notes

I bought this hydration pack a few weeks ago while training for a marathon. I had an old Camelbak that needed replacing and was dying for something with 2L instead of 1.5L in my current pack. I live in Miami where it's hot and muggy most of the time so I need something light, breathable and I don't need a lot of storage space - hydration is key for me. was very pleased with Nathan. I did about 5 long runs with it (16-22 miles) and it did a great job. It's easy to take big sips and they do aโ€ฆ

Great hydration pack for half marathons or short distances

I've run in this hydration pack for the past few years. I recently bought a second one because my original one was worn out. Mostly I like this pack. It contains enough water to easily run a half marathon. It has a mesh pocket on the right side that I use for my iPod and a zippered pocket on the left side that I carry my ID, medical card, pocket knife, and car keys. It also has a mesh pocket on the left side in front of a zipped pocket that I use for eye drops. Instead, you can simply placeโ€ฆ
