Glows red not purple

Bought bright purple. I had a green one before it turned green. I expected it to be purple based on the description. Nothing in the description indicates that the purple model actually has red LEDs.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Bright red light on camping

to run, works great. Very bright light for the size. I also tried it on a stroller on the crowded streets of San Francisco during an evening stroll and it definitely caught people's attention. They moved politely as they saw the carriage approaching.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I bought doubt

Very temperamental and poorly done.

The switch that turns the light on and off is very capricious. Sometimes it turns on but doesn't turn off, and sometimes it doesn't turn on at all. Sent one back as a replacement that didn't work at all. Changing the battery is a big undertaking - the cap is awkward to use and requires a lot of wiggling. The device isn't very durable, so I doubt how many times it will be possible to swap out the battery before the device falls apart. Bad quality and bad design. Definitely intended for one-time…

Sturdy, light and bright

I've been using it for a few months now and I love it! I clipped this light to my running vest and the clip holds it perfectly. Since receiving it I've been using it about 12 hours a week - on the penultimate setting with the individual rotating lights, and I finally have to replace the battery. As an early morning/late evening runner I really like this light and I like the multiple lighting settings for better visibility. It's so light I forget it until I blind myself when I put my running…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some cons

Very bright, good product

I bought this flashlight for running at night. As advertised, it is very bright and does exactly what it is supposed to. I like the different mode settings and the awesome swappable batteries. As a safety device for those who run at night, I highly recommend this product. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the light sometimes has trouble turning on after changing the battery. I don't know if it's the switch or the batteries. If you press and hold the power button, it blinks

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some problems

As an avid sunset runner, I use my blinker to be seen. I have used Nathan Strobe in the past. Looking at the description they say the HyperBrite delivers more lumens so I bought it as the price difference was negligible. However, in use the HyperBrite did not produce an even light and was brighter as it has convex plastic lenses on all bulbs which focus the light a bit more but also create areas of shadow. I find it might be a bit noticeable to oncoming runners (not sure about cars), but for me

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good, but not great
