Sturdy, easy to install, works with 1/8 " glass

Currently holds a 60 x 30, 30 lb, 1/8" thick mirror for the home gym. Drill, spirit level and bolt finder make work easier. I used a bolt on one side and an anchor on the other. I only wish they made them thinner than 1/4 inch. Since the mirror is 1/8 inch thick I used furniture pads cut in half to fill in the extra space underneath. But it works well, tested with some body weight and glass pressure.

Pros
  • steel stock
Cons
  • old

Best frameless mirror holder

I love it. Ordered 1 set to make sure it worked and had to order a 2nd pair. The holders are durable. I held my 22lb and 35lb mirrors with ease and only used 1 pair per mirror. Allows you to slide up to adjust and remove if needed. Only thing is it's not quite 1/4 inch, probably 3/8 inch will fit, not measured exactly but definitely wider than 1/4 inch. This can be a safety feature for the glass so nothing presses the glass/mirror.

Pros
  • Easy to use and install
Cons
  • Color fading

Cheap, but it works.

The actual gear works great for what it's designed for. The visible brackets were scratched but transferred into the mirror and for what I needed it for it wasn't a problem. The screws included in this set are for use with wall anchors only. They definitely wouldn't penetrate the drywall close enough to use on a stud, so I had to use my own screws for this project. Overall it worked with some modifications but you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Includes Anchors
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
