I use them to raise and lower bird feeders for maintenance and filling. I raise the bird feeders so the lawn doesn't bang its head on the bird feeders. It is difficult to find inexpensive pulleys for this purpose. You can use thin lines that will make it difficult for the squirrels to reach the feeding spots. Works perfectly. However, it would be easier if the pair came with two brackets.

The description of this item with picture makes you think you are getting a set of fork rollers. NOT CORRECT! You will receive ONE fork pulley and one stationary pulley. In other words, one set of rollers is for one side of the door ONLY. If like me you want to replace springs and replace fork washers you will need TWO SETS of these. Do not be fooled. Otherwise the quality of the pulleys is good, they serve their purpose and were a good replacement for the old ones that were on the door.

The pulleys are fine - they seem to work well, good bearings. My problem is forks, or should I say forks because they only pack one. Two pulleys, two axle bolts, one fork! First I Was Crucified: How Can You Lose a Brand New Fork? Then when I went to make another door and dig up another package I found they only packed one! BUT? So either keep the old fork, make them out of a piece of thick duct tape like I did, or pay a few bucks more and buy two sets of individual pulleys, not this set.

I AM REALLY CRAZY ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. It comes complete with 2 pulleys, 2 'ties', 2 bolts and nuts and attaches to one end of the garage door spring and allows the cable to pass around the pulley. It arrived without a strap and I have tried several times to contact Revain and at least three times this has happened: I indicate that I want to return the product and he asks why.
