I mean, what can I say, it's a latch. It was easy to install, I don't think it's designed for security because it doesn't withstand that. But for its purpose, just keeping the door locked works very well.

This 3" long Stainless Steel Hook and Eye is well made for the price. I bought two of these to replace the existing rusty galvanized hooks on our deck gates. They look good, work well and hold up well so overall I'm very happy with them.

Exactly what I was looking for. Stainless steel, so won't rust on the outside, unlike galvanized steel. Used it to keep the barn doors open so the wind wouldn't slam them shut and bang against the frame. Seems to be great quality. Will be updated in a few months although I can't imagine them failing for the use I will be using them for (non wearing)
