I rarely leave bad reviews, but this one definitely deserves it. Bought this as an anniversary gift for my friend who collects fossils, civil war relics, etc. The case fell apart as soon as I opened it. The frame holding the top glass is not glued at all and fell right out of the box. Even the screws holding the lock in place just fell out completely after flipping it. The hinges are extremely thin. I'll try to salvage it by gluing the frame, swapping the screws and gluing, but for the price…

I selected the wrong color during purchase. When I put them on the dresser they were meant for, they were the exact same color and didn't look right. At first I thought I'd return it because of the lighter color but after reading some reviews about the breakage and the good condition I figured I'd work with what I have. I ordered a box in brown. When I received it I noticed a small dent on the left corner of the cover as if something had come in contact with it. There was major damage in the right corner where it also appeared to be in contact with something. On the right side damage, a piece of wood was partially torn off.
