Once you get rid of the random threads on the pad they work great. They clean just as well as the sponges I've had in the past. Best of all, they are natural.

These sponges work just as well as the signature blue-on-blue and green-on-yellow sponges you buy in the store, but they're plant-based and far more sustainable. I will buy them now.

I really like that they are biodegradable - or, in the case of a metal mop, appear to be unbreakable. The sponge is ok, but I have to get used to the hardness of the cleaning part, which makes the sponge quite inflexible and difficult to squeeze dry. It may soften over time, but it doesn't.

A picture is worth a thousand words so I've included one. This sponge did a great job removing burnt-in dirt on a nonstick pan. It was easy to clean but didn't damage or scratch the surface of the pan. The price is actually a bit lower than most other cellulose sponge brands I've seen. And they are environmentally friendly. What more could you want from a sponge? Win/win/win. would recommend.

These sponges are great for dishwashing, they clean dirty dishes, pots and pans well and wipe them perfectly. These sponges can be used for any type of cleaning, but I prefer to keep them in the kitchen for easy cleaning. An added bonus is that they are made from natural materials and are odorless. I haven't used the chainmal scrubber yet, but it will come in handy when the need arises.

I've been using one of these sponges for a few weeks to see how well it holds up. It's okay, it wears out just as quickly as the synthetic sponges I'm used to. The sponge part is very absorbent and the cleaning side is just as hard and "scratchy" as the ScotchBrite side of regular sponges.
