Description of Natural Nylon Thread Beading Stringing

This is a new spool of Sono natural color nylon thread. Designed by master beader Sonoko Nozue. This nylon thread is strong enough that doubling isn't necessary and is difficult to pierce because it does not shred. Tangling is minimized because it is non-clinging. Great for bead stringing and making bracelets and necklaces.

Disappointing Quality Nylon String for Beading

As a result of using this product, I found that the string tends to unravel and fray easily, making it difficult to thread through beads .The only positive is that it comes in a large spool, but even that doesn't make up for the poor quality. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more reliable beading string..

Pros
  • Strong and durable for long-lasting beaded or strung jewelry.
Cons
  • May break easier than other types of beading string, such as wire or cord.

quickly became my favorite thread

I have been using Sealid for a long time and have always been suspicious of new beading threads as they tend to be too stiff or too worn. Sono works great in the bead technique, which is what I use most often. It is very strong, so it is suitable for necklaces, bracelets and rings of the same thickness. It never frays on me and threads easily through the #12 needles I use for Japanese seed beads. It just needs to be flattened slightly to thread the thread. What I really like about Sono is that…

Pros
  • Designed by Beadmaster Sonoko Nozue
Cons
  • Slightly torn
