🌱 Organic 10lb Bag of Soy 464 Wax Review

This was a great soy wax at a very good price. Using only this wax and essential oils, I made 14 candles of various sizes; a small votive, small, medium, large 3 wick and an extra large 4 wick and I have some wax left over. Wax melts well, good quality, smells nice, candles burn great! It was such a good deal and I definitely want to buy this £10 bag again!

The product I received has a sticker that says GW 646 100% soy wax, but it doesn't look like GW464 at all (which I'm very familiar with ). This wax is in small round granules, like a kind of "thrifty wax", not in the form of 464 flakes, and is ivory in color instead of white. Had they run out of 464 and thought people wouldn't notice if they were shipping a completely different product? I wish I could rate this based on the seller. If bought at Candlemaker's Store and Candle Wic, it's perfect; Yes, there are wet spots and some dirt - that's what I get when I order in bulk from other candle sites. It's more of a Golden Brands wine. If you find wet spots on the wax, allow the bag to air out and be sure to shake/stir the wax to allow it to breathe. A beginner won't explain my skills but this wax didn't require much maintenance to pour a very nice smooth candle. It's soft, so I doubt it would make good pillar candles, but for the standard-style 16-ounce stein glass containers I used, it was perfect. I noticed that the lighter colors I made burned better than the darker ones, although they absorbed all color very well. I make candles and sell them at the farmer's market. I've bought £20.05 candles many times only to finally read it's the same brand of wax for £464.00. So far this is the best I've found. I've bought other 444s and one from etsy, they crack in small votive sizes and burn after blistering and bumping white on top. It doesn't, and this is the best option, here's why: Suitable for both small and large candles. It remains homogeneous and melts well. And it cools well, not too fast and not too slow.
