. my second purchase to stabilize my shoulder and like it more because of the feel.

This is my second purchase for a shoulder stabilizer and I like the feel of it better because it feels solid. The original stabilizer that I bought and still use is another item on Amazon that had folding handles that allowed me to switch between using it as a shoulder rig and an optional cage setup stabilizer. While it's great to be able to adjust the setup in under a minute, the snap-in setup doesn't compare to the stability and secure fit that I've gotten from Neewer. Feels much better when…

I love this setup. At $70, it fits my budget. Pros: Lightweight Helps decently with smooth panning. Makes you look amazing. People have been staring at me for the past 2 days when I've been using it. Excellent value for money, reliable for an entry-level device. Without a counterweight, this structure is not stable enough. You need a 3 pound counterweight. Good setup except for the wrong trigger plate mount design

This is a very well built and solid setup but when I shot 2 weddings with it over the weekend I noticed that my Manfrotto 503 (same size) like 501 was ) the removable plate was not attached to the mounting plate of this shoulder mount with a retractable pin, so it does not work properly. I like this do it yourself setup, it takes a bit of fiddling but it's cheap and worth it.

Works really well. I had to use a wrench to tighten all the keys (with a rag underneath to protect the finish) but I did it with a Neewer Follow Focus, a CN-160 LED light (battery with charger added) and a Takstar microphone used. So for less than $200 I had a fairly cheap but functional home camera/video setup for a DSLR.
