🍎 Nesco American Harvest SLD-2-6, Fruit Roll-Up Dehydrator Sheet for FD-1010, FD-1018A, FD-1040, FD-80, FD-80CN (Set of 2, White) Review

I bought this for my dehydrator but it was too big. So I solved this problem by putting my usual rack in between and it was perfect. I also plugged the top hole to allow air to escape through the gaps on the sides and it really worked. Great product, just a little big.

These trays fit my Nesco FD-80A square food dehydrator and I am very satisfied! A suggestion. Due to the packaging of these bowls, they were deformed when I received them. To flatten them out for use, I preheated my oven to 200F and then placed the baking sheets in the oven with flat-topped baking sheets to make them heavier. After about 20 minutes I turned off the oven and let it cool down. The trays are now perfectly flat for use.

These sheets work, but my fruit rolls were too thick on the inside and too thin on the outside. The blade has a slight incline so the fruit mix slides towards the center. I tried making it thicker on the outside but it still slipped towards the middle. I don't know how to tweak Jerry to make it work better, but it can probably be done. I may need to make my fruit mix very thick so it doesn't slide at all.

We have a Nesco Garden Master dehydrator and we love it. We were drying fruit and I decided to try fruit bowls or fruit buns. These work great! First I use a very small amount of coconut oil to prevent sticking, then I pour the blended fruit mixture onto the tray and spread the mixture evenly, then place the tray in the dehydrator and wait. The result is amazing, my son loves them and I love that I can cook him something healthy that he likes.

They may be round but they match my square Nesco FD-80A dehydrator perfectly. I recently made fruit rolls with a mix of tropical fruits and they turned out so delicious! The instructions say to spray the trays with non-stick spray, but it leaves greasy marks in some places. my turns. Next time I do this I'll probably use less or just try a light coat of coconut oil. They are great for making leather fruit buns. I've made several batches with peaches and some applesauce. On my first batch, I tried this without rubbing some oil on the sheet (against the instructions in the manual). The result was not very good as the buns stuck to the tray. I then tried using PAM but that resulted in the buns being too greasy. Finally, I put some vegetable oil on a paper towel and rub it in. Excellent!
