Wanted a burner for our RV instead of using propane. This device works great. It doesn't get any better than that with 900 watts per burner. If you need a burner, buy it. Searched for a long time before making a decision. I made the right choice this time. I highly recommend this device.

Just received yesterday. Tried it right away as some reviewers said it takes too long for the water to boil. The burners take longer to heat up than my gas range, but that's to be expected. Both burners boiled water for me fairly quickly. I had a problem. The right burner twisted roughly out of the box. The manufacturing defect of the case was a slight curvature of the case which disturbed the dial. I took the dial off, tapped the crease with a hammer to smooth it out, replaced the dial and now

Sorry but after only 5 months of use the little burner stopped heating. This is so frustrating because I bought another NESCO product the roaster about 2 years ago and it stopped heating in less than 3 months. The return was staggering as Nesco didn't want to send a return label to the factory, but after a long discussion they finally agreed. After sending it back I waited 3 months for repair and return.
