I love NetDot cables and have several Gen 5 and Gen 7 cables and connectors that work well together. I decided to try the Gen 10 cables and they are definitely an upgrade. It's worth noting that the Gen 10 cables and connectors aren't compatible with previous models, but that's not an issue for me. The cables all have a very nice nylon jacket that looks like it will wear well and the cable itself feels thicker. Fairly cheap cable, heavy enough for peripherals. I don't think it'll be entirely safe on a phone in your hand in bed, but it's great for things like wireless keyboards and mice. My phone charged much faster when plugged straight into the wall but this cable and widget is really that nifty thing. 3 packs means I can store the cable in the car, at work and at home. I just LOVE these charging cables. I've had them for 6 months now and I'm ordering more. I ordered two different types and this design won. Advantages: Easy to connect, fast charging, strong connection, easy to use in the car, less damage to the charging port, ideal for people with bad fingers or hands. less trouble finding the right cable. Devices with repeating inputs and outputs. You have to know. - Use a removal tool or you will break it. - Clean the connector from dust or dirt every month.

Great idea and product. Unsurpassed and so easy to use and operate with one hand in the car etc. I wish this was the standard for all phones and computers like MacBooks back then. Cons, it's very easy to turn off if you don't want it. The usual way to disconnect this cable is to break the magnetic "seal" on one of the corners and pull on the cable. I bought the Net Spot charging cables because I'm frustrated with lightning cables. I usually leave my iPads plugged in when reading or using, and I don't think the cable will last more than two months.
