PoE works great - Computers and Accessories

PoE works great. Use the device for six Raspberry Pi devices (one has a Samsung SSD attached to it) and it seems to be working great. I haven't used the web interface, nor is it necessary in my case. All you need is PoE and a 1GB connection.

The CG510PP is a great PoE device for powering my wireless access points. It keeps me informed and the best part is that it's so easy to manage with Insights.

doesn't support Mac, isn't a managed switch

Not easy to set up 1 hour with support and they offered to return it to me, like they say, unmanageable switch. You can't turn off the EEE green setting, that's no good.

No screw fixings, ideal for a small home or business network!

Please note that some screws may be missing. Luckily, I keep a ton of similar screws in my toolbox for firmly attaching rackmount adapters to equipment. I bought this switch because I have a home network that is in dire need of more Ethernet ports and extra power for compatible devices. I also needed something I could manage without the high cost of other enterprise PoE switches. This turned out to be the right solution for my home network. My complaint is that I want Netgear to place anโ€ฆ
