Buy LAN Extender instead

The Wireless Range Extender (WGXB102) was not working at all. I used to use a NetGear bridge and hotspot that didn't work. I have a NetGear Wireless Range N Max router. Only electrical LAN range extenders worked. Essentially I could buy a cheap network router because I have essentially the exact same thing. Some time before that he simply cut the connection. I bought a new 802.11g router and everything is working again, no more network dropouts. I would no longer recommend this product. First Review: I wasn't sure if replacing my 802.11b router in my basement with 802.11g would solve my reception problems elsewhere in my house. I alsoโ€ฆ

Important to Verizon FIOS users

For those of you with a Verizon FIOS account for your internet, DO NOT BUY THIS BEFORE YOU READ THE FOLLOWING! This may not be due to this product, but rather due to Verizon FIOS routers not working well with others. I switched to a Hawking Range Extender after trying this Netgear to no avail and getting the same results. The only way to fix the FIOS signal extension issue is to connect another wireless router to the Verizon FIOS router, and then connect your computer's network settings andโ€ฆ
