Cable tester automatically tests the continuity, open, shorted of twisted pair data wiring (RJ45/RJ11/RJ12 ) connections; Visible LED status display.(DC9V battery/charger not included). The LED lights will flash in rotation if all the wires are properly connected, otherwise the corresponding light will not flash. The color of the LED light does not mean anything. Cable Type: RJ11 RJ12 Telephone cable and RJ45 LAN cable. Cable state testing (2-wire): Line DC detecting, and both anode and cathode determination, Ringing signal detecting open, short and cross circuit testing. Easy to use, compact tool saves time and money on the job.

Very good tester for the money

I bought a more expensive tester and wasn't happy with it. I decided to "take a chance" and buy this inexpensive tester for personal use. It works perfectly and I am completely satisfied with it. I've used it on RJ45 and RJ11 cables and it's been absolutely accurate every time.

Easy to use, high quality and reliable cable tester.

I really like this product, it has helped me a lot with my basement wiring and running custom length cables. This allowed me to verify that the cabling was correct or that my network cable was working properly and wasn't damaged. Very easy to use and so far very reliable.

Excellent value and ease of use

Bought to test some Category 5e cables while remodeling my whole house network. Was surprised to find something so cheap so wasn't expecting too much. Although the tester worked perfectly. There were no problems with the tester itself - it did what was necessary. The network is operational. Great value if you only need one device to test your cables. I would recommend it.
