Excellent protection, suitable for sunscreen

This is a great sunscreen. All of my kids compete in outdoor swimming year-round and are well protected even in the sweltering Southern California heat. It stays white and gives skin a white sheen after rubbing in, but it's worth it for sun protection.

I expected more from Neutrogena

I have bought three bottles and have relied on Neutrogena's quality product. Bad choice on my part. Ultimately, with some rubbing effort, you can make that white spot go away. Expect it to stay on your body for a few days as it took just as much effort to take it off in the shower. A plus? I have no doubt that it is VERY waterproof!

Great for the beach butโ€ฆ

This is a very durable waterproof material. I only recommend it for beach days or sports in the sun. I say that because it's so waterproof it's hard to take it off, even with soap and water in the shower, if you WANT to take it off. I have a water softener and even with that the residue of the product can be felt on the skin (not slippery like wet skin feels like it's in soft soapy water). So it definitely works as advertised, but for me it works TOO WELL
