Great Hose for my opinion

The hose is so much better than the standard hoses I've used all my life. I like that it expands, so I don't need a large hose to water an extended area. It's a lot easier to wind around my water pipe than the old rubber hoses.

Pros
  • Long 25-foot length allows for plenty of reach
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain watering cans or buckets

Small orifices restrict flow.

This is not ported like a regular garden hose. It has very small openings in the brass end fittings, approximately 1/4" diameter on both ends. These are standard garden hose fittings, but are restricted way down, which greatly reduces the volume of water available at the discharge end. The hose itself also appears to be a small diameter, but it is encased in a black fiber sheath, so it is not visible for measurement. This hose should be okay for watering flowers and other casual gardening uses…

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to carry
Cons
  • May be prone to bursting or bursting near connections

Connectors First Rate

It is a flex hose and this model does that well. What I think is first rate are the connectors and shut off valve. The connectors are made of brass and spin freely to allow easy and tight connection to your outdoor spigot or another hose. The shut off valve is easy to use and shuts off water flow completely.

Pros
  • Suitable for use with both low and high water flow rates
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use around rocks or rough terrain

Good - only had a couple of months

Exactly what I hoped for and expected. A lightweight hose that shrinks down when not in use. Only had it a couple of months, but no issue so far.I especially like the ball valve at the end of the hose - I wish all hoses had that.

Pros
  • Provides optimal water flow for efficient watering
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain water filters or purifiers

Destroys itself.: my feedback

I have had this for one year and three months rarely using it and now it has water coming out from a multitude of spots rendering useless. Of course, it’s just past the warranty. This is the second time I have bought one of these and will never do that again. The way they are made very easily lends itself to holes. Frankly, these are not well made. The photo shows the results of this hose without the nozzle even being open.

Pros
  • Light weight, easy to store. No leaks. Nothing not to like.
Cons
  • May be heavy and cumbersome to move around

Reviews Sound Great!

After one year usage it started to leak in two areas. We only used it in our garden summer timeDo not buy this hose. Unless you wanted to get hosed buy the manufactory.Next

Pros
  • A must-have for any serious gardener or homeowner
Cons
  • May not be easy to use or maneuver for novice gardeners or beginners

Riemex expandable 25ft hose.

In all fairness I only hooked up and tested it briefly. However the construction seems to be very strong but very flexible and the brass fittings make connecting very easy. When water is turned off it shrinks back to original size but but seems to have the 25 feet length when in use. Without extended use I still feel I feel confident that this is a very good product.

Pros
  • Just what I expected
Cons
  • I received this item without instrctions

Great product.: my feedback

Wish I had bought the 50 ft. hose it was a real good buy, at a lot less then twice the price of 2 25 footers. Ralph May not work well in extreme temperatures.

Pros
  • 💧100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: We stand behind our products with a 30 day money back guarantee and 1 year free replacement warranty. Your satisfaction is our priority! Every Riemex garden hose is backed by superior reliability, customer service and quality.
Cons
  • May not work well in extreme temperatures

Not worth it! for my opinion

Ok, I bought one of these a few years back and loved it, eventually it started leaking after 2 years and felt I got my monies worth. Not bad for a TV marketed hose by the guy from Tool Time. I purchased this one in may and 5 month in it springs a leak and is useless. No exchanges because no-one stands behind their product. I shouldn't say no-one there are a few who want returning customers.

Pros
  • Solid brass connectors are rust-resistant and durable
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain water sources or wells

We got the non-expanding 9 " hose

I love an older pocket hose or expanding hose I have so my husband bought me another one when the old one did what they all do & sprung a leak. This new hose has beautiful brass fittings on each end & an on / off switch. But this hose does not expand like the old one did. I tried it without a sprayer nozzle attached & I tried it with a nozzle attached & neither way produced any hose expansion whatsoever. The hose remained whatever length it is dry - about 9' I think. It's back to the Walmart…

Pros
  • Comes with a storage bag for convenient storage
Cons
  • May be difficult to clean and maintain

Pros
  • Light weight and fittings seam good
Cons
  • Ease of dragging the hose around, it is lightweight and convenient.

Perfect Hose for RV Black Water Use

I got this to use with my RV. When emptying the holding tanks, I wanted a hose to use for cleaning the drain & the sewer drain hose. This flexible, black hose does the trick. It's easy to handle and store. I'm happy with it so far!

Pros
  • UV-resistant to prevent fading and cracking
Cons
  • May not be environmentally friendly or biodegradable

These are nice hoses that work great

This is my second one of these hoses. I have a 100’ for around the yard and I recently bought the 25 footer for my boat. My 100’ hose has been abused for a couple of years and it’s just as strong and sturdy as when I bought it.

Pros
  • 💧HIGH PRESSURE-RESISTANCE DURABLE LATEX: normal operating water pressure: 43.5-87PSI/3-6Bar; Safe operating water pressure: under 145PSI/10Bar
Cons
  • May not be suitable for hot water applications

Performs as advertised

Performs as advertised. I have used this product before and it performs as advertised. The downside is that it may not last over a year if left outside all the time. I have purchased two of these before and had to replace them when they burst after about a year.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • May not be flexible enough for tight corners or angles

Perfect solution to an unsightly hose issue

I don't write many reviews but this product deserves one. For 35 years I've had an unsightly hose on my deck, sometimes coiled against the wall but more often just laying there. This hose practically disappears when not in use and is very easy to use. Works perfectly and shrinks up when you're done with it just by keeping the nozzle open for a bit after the bib has been shut off. It's a small thing but I'm thankful for it every day. Top marks.

Pros
  • na
Cons
  • May not be suitable for drinking water

easy to use: my feedback

I have several of these types of hoses. unfortunately i ordered 25ft, but without pulling on the hose it only reaches between 12 -15 ft when filled. I have only used 2xs so far and maybe it will take time to stretch out. The on/ off nozzle is convenient. The item was delivered on time and the Seller sent a great welcoming email. if the hose would have come close to the 25ft i would have given 5 stars.

Pros
  • Not bad for the money.
Cons
  • May be difficult to coil and store

The hose literally disintegrates in less than a year

I really liked this product when I first got it. It works as advertised and quickly collapses into a convenient coil when not in use.The problem appears to be in that very elasticity. Elastic materials don't typically have a long shelf life. In the case of this garden hose, that shelf life is apparently less than a year. As you can see from the included photos it leaks like a sieve. In fact it leaks so much now that absolutely no water actually comes out of the other end of the hose.If you…

Pros
  • Really great quality, not the typical one time use kind of quality.
Cons
  • May not work well with low water pressure

Seems ok. Too early to tell yet

Every one of these types of hoses that I have had failed. They all busted and leaked. And buy the most expensive one does not help either. I have had mine for only two weeks and so far so good. It had good reviews, so I am trying it. My last one just barely made a year before failing. I hope this one last much longer.

Pros
  • This hose works like a charm and does not kink , is light and does not give me any problems
Cons
  • May take longer to fill up watering cans

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far it is working well

I liked this hose because it is easy to install and works well I just bought it so I don’t know how whether it is going to last

Pros
  • Perfect for me
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain watering systems

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent Quality for my opinion

This was one of the better buys out there. The two ends have a brass "sleeve" which makes it extra sturdy to handle, especially when the hose material is not stiff. One end has a valve, so you can conveniently shut the water without going to the faucet. It shrinks quite a lot when water pressure is removed, making it very handy to store. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • 💧SPACE-EFFICIENT DESIGN: starts out 8 FT and expands to 25 FT with water pressure, but returns to 8 FT after water out
Cons
  • May be difficult to maneuver around obstacles
