Black New Balance 847V3 Walking Shoes Review

We needed shoes that were wide enough to accommodate a prosthesis for sagging feet. Styles have been constrained to larger widths. People with wide feet also want to be stylish.

The first pair of V3, probably the last. Not as supportive and durable as previous 847s. I have a great price with a discount, about 50%. Anything close to full price would be a rip off given previous versions.

I have plantar fasciitis and use NB 847 with orthotics. These shoes are very stable and wear out very evenly. I have a second pair of V2s and now a V3. The V2 and V3 have slight cosmetic differences, but I didn't notice any difference in fit or function. These are good stable shoes.

The shoes are ok but rather mediocre for what I expected and for the price. High-end New Balance shoes tend to be exceptionally high quality and comfortable. This shoe is more of an inferior version of New Balance or other cheaper shoes. Not quite the comfort I would like. Although the width and size fits.

I don't wear this shoe that often and was very disappointed when the sole detached from the shoe and the lining around my ankles started to deteriorate. Not what I expect from New Balance. Mine were assembled in the US; Whatever that means.

I have arthritis in my feet and sore toes, but I walk 4-5 miles every day. With these shoes I can keep walking even if my feet get worse. Love her!

I bought 2 pairs of these 847v3 boots (white and gray) to replace a pair of NBs that I liked but suddenly the sole came off. I wasn't expecting this from NB so I switched to the 847 which was an expensive decision but I wanted the reliability and comfort I've come to expect from NB shoes. I tried so many shoes that were cheaper. You should have started! I have Morton's Neuroma and I can wear them all day with no pain!

How long before these boots stop squeaking with every step? I like the shoes and had the same problem with the previous pair. I know the squeaks go away over time. The only question is for how long.

I go every day; At least 3 miles but I can usually walk 4-5 miles. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so I often put in many miles in the rain, snow, and the occasional sunshine. The fit is true to size and the quality is good. The shoes were assembled in the USA which I really appreciate and they are very comfortable. I walk a lot and so far they are holding up pretty well. New Balance is also great because they offer so many different sizes.

I only buy New Balance and there's a reason they seem to be the only shoes I buy that don't leave my feet sore at the end of the day that I highly recommend

I love these shoes so much I bought a second pair. Very convenient. I have a wide foot and 3 wide feet is perfect for me. I've bought four other styles of New Balance sneakers in the last six months and they fit me perfectly. the best.

I have had this shoe for about 1 year and it has held up very well. I use a Doctor Shulls insole in every boot because I have severe arthritis in one knee. But I wear these shoes 7 days a week because with the insole they give me the support I need to walk partially normally.

I wouldn't run in them or wear them to the gym, but they're just great for everyday walks and trips to the store. Decent enough that you don't look like a guy who wears sneakers. overall. I have NB sneakers - they glow in dark neon green and I love them. But I don't wear sneakers with them and I don't look like an idiot. My 80 year old mother wears them too. It took years.

The old 847 solved the toe width problems. It didn't callous or irritate my toes. So I ended up buying 3 from Revain. This new version is more fashionable but doesn't help an old man like me as it doesn't have enough room for toes.

I've been buying NB shoes for over 20 years because I wear orthotics and need a deeper toe box. Compared to my last pair of this model, I found the toe of this pair to be flatter. I measured two pairs with a ruler to be sure and was surprised to see the difference. The width is also a bit narrower. NB used to be a very consistent and reliable brand.

I've always considered New Balance sneakers to be the most comfortable running shoes out of the box. The only thing I went up based on other reviews is half a size (9->9.5).

I have uncomfortable feet. I almost always wear New Balance shoes as I've been lucky enough to find comfortable shoes. I use these shoes for walking (I usually walk 2 miles on pavement) and for everyday wear. I use SOLE insoles in these shoes. These shoes are breathable and supportive with good cushioning and the soles have pretty good grip on both dry and wet surfaces. Great shoes.

I always bought NB. Some of them lasted longer than others, but generally they performed well. This is my first pair in this style so far so good.
