Exceptional Performance and Style: New Balance Kid's Fresh Foam Arishi V1 Lace-Up Trail Running Shoe Review

These sneakers smell like cat urine. We couldn't figure out why my son's bathroom smelled so bad. First the box was removed. Then we thought it was shoelaces. I washed the sneakers and now it seems the smell is coming from the tongue of the shoes. I don't know if it was from the fabric it was made of or if the cat actually peed on it. We used to have the same sneakers in a different color and there were no problems. It's terrible and now my son refuses to wear shoes. Please advise.

I was in seventh heaven when I got them. They are perfect in almost every way. The sole isn't so fluffy that you lose tactile feel of the ground, but it's not rock hard either. The width is perfect if, like me, you need a slightly wider toe box. The only reason I brought them back is that the heel actually follows the contours and rubs the heel too much. I'm not a fan of bubbles and it hurts to wear them around the house for just 5 minutes. Completely heartbroken. Otherwise they are so perfect.

The first pair arrived and the sole started to fall off the shoe after the first use. We only buy New Balance for the quality and comfort, so we're disappointed. However, we contacted Revain and they immediately sent us a replacement pair and a label to return the defective pair. The second couple had no problems and our son loves them. He's outgrown every pair of New Balance he's had before they wear out. The ability to get large sizes is also a big bonus. Highly recommend New Balance shoes.
