I bought a big boy size 8 for my 8.5 year old. an old grandson who weighs 63 pounds and is 50 inches tall. They were pretty big for him. They could be tied tighter but they were still too baggy. The material feels like cheap spiky polyester that dries quickly but isn't of the quality you'd expect from a premium branded product.

My daughter loves these shorts. She is 4 years old and tries to emulate her 11 year old brother in everything. She doesn't like shorts and a bed with pockets. In winter she wears leggings underneath.

My son lives in gym shorts and these are the only brand he owns that ripped after a pair of socks. I will not order this brand again.

Cannot handle an active 11 year old. Unfortunately the quality is not what you would expect. All but one of the 6 pairs purchased only have holes after a few weeks.

Full Disclosure So I bought these for my adult hippo who is my emotional assistant and I just didn't feel comfortable getting on a plane without shorts because, you know. modesty and so on. Not to mention that people always twist their panties when your pet hippo has to unload a dump truck on an airplane. If you understand my drift (or his). In short, they didn't suit the hippo bull, but they suited my child perfectly.

The drawstring goes well with these shorts and the sizing is perfect for kids with a small waist. Withstands several washes, does not sag, does not shine through.

I ordered these regular size 6 shorts for my son. They were huge! Almost to the point where I worry that a size 5 will be too big. The color is great and I love the style but they are way bigger than other brands I buy. Definitely take a size smaller!

These are fantastic shorts for my very active son who can't sit still. He likes that they are slightly longer (to the knee) and made of a comfortable material. He's worn them several times since we bought them and they still look great. My son is very picky about clothes so we are very happy with the style, quality and design of these shorts!
