I've been looking for these New Balance golf shoes for years. I wanted comfortable golf shoes. I wanted shoes with good traction, like my soft spike shoes. I wanted the "nubs" on the soles of the shoes to be durable. It's too early to talk about durability, but it looks like they'll hold up a lot better than the crap I bought at Foot Joy for $100 last year. The New Balance's lugs are definitely made of harder rubber. I don't think I need to change these shoes after one season of play (around 70
