Kids' 997H V1 Lace-Up Sneaker by New Balance Review

I have personally tried a few pairs of New Balance and have never had any issues with the quality of their shoes. So we bought them for my son because although they are expensive I thought we would make a good living with them. Unfortunately I was wrong. Exactly 45 days from the delivery date (estimated 35-40 wearing days) they are fully open. This is not a sticking problem with the sole, the shoes are completely torn. The shoes look great, but beware.

My son has wide feet so finding the right shoes for him is difficult. New Balance is one of the few brands that offer both wide and half sizes. Most sneaker manufacturers at major retailers do not offer half sizes. He is currently wearing 11.5 watts and they fit him perfectly. Super comfortable and he loves them. The new balance will be my new sneaker transition for him.

The cutest sneakers ever! They are perfect for kids with high arches. I can't say enough about how adorable they are and my son loves them!

These are real "wide" shoes, my kid loves them and so do I. But one thing, the sole of the shoe is plastic, should be rubber it will be much better. Therefore I only give 4 beginnings of this.

This is not New Balance quality. My son has only worn them a few times, they are falling apart. The quality is terrible. Our new running shoes usually last a long time.

So many compliments on these gold shoes! I hesitantly threw them in the washer and dryer after the mud fiasco, worried the color or texture would suffer, but I figured they would look just as good as the mud. And they came out brand new!

Very light and comfortable. Good quality shoes. My toddler loves how she can walk in it without feeling heavy. They look a little orthopedic but are good for the price.

I love these shoes! Bought for my 2 year old son, they look great and feel very comfortable on his feet. We get many compliments on them, would like to buy them again in other colors. Costs money!

I like it because the shoe's toe is suede, which is more durable than their other cloth shoes (like adidas), even if the toe is slightly raised, it's "rubber" - the material will still somehow "rough ”, and the fabric begins to crumble.

They are perfect for my son who wears a size 13. The colors are fun and go with almost any outfit. Says they are very comfortable!

I liked the sneakers. They look great on my 6 year old who had slightly wider feet. I also love the stitching on the laces! Really good running shoes!

I bought these shoes in April and they are still in good condition. My daughter runs a lot, so they have shown that they can withstand the damage caused by children's shoes.

I bought my granddaughter the size recommended by the daughter-in-law. Fits great, Grand likes pink and Dil thinks it's cute. Win a win for Nana. Granddaughter 3 years old bought size 9.

My son loves these shoes. He's 5, will be 6 in 2 months. He's a bit short but a size 10.5 fits him well with little room to grow without being too loose. They are well made and of good quality. Would like more colors in his size. It always seems like everything is sold out. I was lucky that I was able to order them at all.

My son has wide feet and the New Balance is the only shoe that fits his foot perfectly. I love that each size is wide or extra wide so I don't have to search for brands for specific styles that may or may not be wide. My son went for the red, white and navy and so far these shoes have been great. He loves them, he says they are very comfortable and I think they look great. In my own experience, NB always lasts for years, so it's worth it!
