Looks nice! Light feeling. not very supportive

They are very thin and light compared to my 574s. If that's what you're looking for, they're great. If you are looking for a stiffer shoe construction, you may find that they are too light.

Pros
  • only positive
Cons
  • dubious purchase for the elderly

Extra wide narrow, especially in the sole

The sole of this 4E shoe, also known as extra wide, is very narrow compared to the NB 990 and NB 993. This is upside down for those who need that extra wide shoe.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Almost never

Cheap, thin shoes with no sole support.

Short in length but true to size in width. Go up half a size. Very thin shoe without sole support. You feel everything you step on. Good for walking on carpets in the house as it is a comfortable shoe.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Blooms

Classic Men best in Men

This is the classic NewBalance sneaker design that I prefer. Low profile, clean lines. These are good light summer shoes. What I like best is the deep rich navy color of the upper and the tonal logo. The sole could be stronger/safer.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Not for training

I bought these shoes because my previous New Balance men's 501 V1 sneaker was not available from Revain for a while and they had a similar look. I mainly use them for running and working out in the gym. However, I would not recommend them for use in the gym. Some of the exercises I do include standing on the edge of the platform and various TRX workouts and these shoes are slippery with poor traction. I would recommend the 501 V1 but not this 311 V2.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Comfortable, No.: Men's

Felt comfortable and had a wide toe box. The only issue I had was that it's so low I can even consider it low top and if you have ankle problems like I do it will result in an ankle twist or sprain.

Pros
  • Stable results in tests
Cons
  • -

A practical item for shoes

I love the fit. The shoes are lightweight and the upper is made of soft man-made materials. My concern is that the soles are too soft and pliable - I felt ridges and bumps when walking on uneven surfaces. Shoes are therefore only of limited use - I can neither walk nor walk in them on the road on uneven ground.

Pros
  • Brilliantly finished
Cons
  • Modern
