Metallic Men's Running Shoes - New Balance Unisex Review

I bought these for my grandson and he loves them. They are very stylish and comfortable. I've been buying him New Balance for a few years now. I originally bought these because they are one of the few brands that have many styles that come in wide and extra wide. I will continue to buy these wonderful shoes.

I am very disappointed in these sneakers - the strap came loose from the velcro after a month of daily wear. Now I have to replace my son's shoes which is very frustrating as we usually buy good quality shoes that will last until he outgrows them. Although we have bought other New Balance shoes in the past and have been satisfied with the quality, I'm not sure we will buy New Balance shoes again after this experience.

We buy New Balance for most of our kids' shoes because they tend to be well constructed, come in bright colors, and come in W and XW sizes. But this pair didn't even last a month before the mesh lining started peeling and the edges frayed! The rest of the shoes still look like new! My son didn't even get a chance to be rude to him! Another reviewer had the exact same issue (see our photos), so this is a manufacturing quality issue and not a random accident.

I bought them thinking they would hold up better than most but they fell apart after only three months. My ten year old struggles with shoes, but still.

The shoes were delivered today for my 10 year old and to my surprise they didn't have velcro. Not really happy with this one because we've always used velcro shoes due to his fine motor skills issues. Unfortunately we are stuck with them for now and have to wait until we get a new pair.

After 3 months, holes appeared in the sides of each shoe in my son's shoes and the Velcro came loose. Several other reviewers had the same issues. My older daughter received the same style same day and she has the same lace pattern (velcro is still intact).

My grandson liked them a lot as red is his favorite color. He said they are very comfortable. I let him run around the house with them. true size. Apparently well done. I ordered my current size 12 and they fit perfectly.

This is the only shoe that fits my son's wide feet. But he's been wearing them less than two weeks and they're already falling apart.

My son was so excited to get these and he only wears them to school. It's only been 3 weeks and the straps on one of them have completely snapped, I thought for the price they would last a little longer.

My son has been wearing them for about 2 weeks and he loves them. They are comfortable and true to size. He complained that they were a bit tight the first day he wore them, but I think he just had to break them in. I will buy a second pair.

My son loves theses. They are comfortable and durable. He also likes that he can skip tying his shoelaces (which he absolutely can) and be able to quickly put them on and head out the door.

It's beautiful and one of the few styles that fits my son's feet well. I buy them from Wade. He's 9 years old but hates tying his shoelaces so I try to turn off the AC whenever possible. Getting dressed for school is so much faster!
