Where's the depreciation?

10 years old and great. So I decided to try the new 510v4 Cushioning Trail Running Shoe. The "softening" part is misleading. The insoles are so thin that I had to replace them with real soft insoles. For me softness is what I need and they didn't work at all. With a much firmer insole they are fine but the paper thin insoles that come with the shoes are a disappointment.

Pros
  • Cushioned Plush: This running shoe features a lightweight injection molded EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning and an NB Soft + Supportive unit for lasting comfort with memory

Amazing shoes! Best in Running

I have discovered that I have arthritis, bone spurs and growths on my feet. It was so painful for me to stand even for an hour. My podiatrist recommended New Balance shoes. It was hard to find a large width in the store, so I reluctantly came here, thinking I'd never like anything I didn't try on in the store. I was so wrong, these are the best shoes I've ever had on my feet. A month later, my orthopedist examined my leg and found that all of the tendons were loose. I never thought a shoe could

Small and wide, but not too wide

My shoe size is usually an 8 or 8 1/2. I ordered the first pair of 8 1/2 regular and they were too small. I sent them back and ordered 9 wide ones. The length is still small but doable, and the width isn't actually that wide. I have ordered another pair but they are 9 1/2 wide and they are perfect. There is wiggle room and fingers don't crunch. After bone surgery and bone spur removal, my toes need extra room and the soles of my shoes need to be less flexible to avoid excessive toe flexion. My…

Not very comfortable at first until worn out.

As someone who has foot problems (2 previous foot surgeries for heel spurs and plantar fasciitis) I love New Balance shoes and they are great but they seem very tight in the toes. They put a lot of pressure on my big toes in particular, which wasn't comfortable at all. It took a few times to put them on before they weren't so tight anymore. They don't have as much cushioning in the arch and heels as I remember New Balance does. I don't know if it's because of this particular shoe or if New…
