You look smooth!

Most of the NewBalance wide shoes I've ordered have this label. WIDE says. They do NOT and fit very snugly. They look good but I think my foot only sleeps 10 minutes after wearing them. No bow support like in the store. I found I had to bend them and now I can finally wear socks with them. You look so cute on the leg

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Very expensive

Tongue unusually stiff

I usually like New Balance shoes. They fit perfectly and feel great EXCEPT for the tongue. It's made of a strange, tough leather material that digs into the front of my ankles, leaving blisters. I would like to like them, but that spoils the whole impression of them. Of course I'm outside the return window (my fault) so I'll try to change them and hopefully be able to tolerate them.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • It's ok

Uncomfortable and unwearable

Second pair of these shoes because I liked the first pair. I ordered them in September and kept them until my first pair needed replacing. I first wore them to tennis practice on January 26th. In this picture my ankle rubbing against the tongue of the shoe. They are useless. Sturdy than the first pair and slightly different in shape and appearance. I am very disappointed and would like to return it.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Minor issues

Something is wrong with these shoes

After wearing these pumps 2 hours a day for a month, I found that my feet hurt, my toes felt like they were broken and the ball of my foot causes severe lameness in each foot. It took me a while to figure out that they might be nice new shoes (thought I was just playing too much). Went back to my old worn out shoes and two days later my feet feel a lot better and I hardly limp anymore. These NB shoes almost hurt me! what the hell! These shoes did serious damage to my feet!

Watch out for production problems!

I love these shoes. Unfortunately, these boots had a manufacturing defect that resulted in one of the shoes (left) having a noticeably longer tongue than the other. It digs into my ankle and I have to put a bandage around my ankle to keep it from blistering. I would have sent them back, but at first I tried them on and didn't notice, and then I took them to the shop where my orthotics are made for these shoes. When I got my orthotics and shoes back and discovered the problem, it was too late to

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can I add something
