She liked the shoes but the size was too small!

My wife had the exact same shoes before she bought these shoes. She gave all the same information about the old shoebox including the size to order this pair. I sent them back because they were 1/2 size too small, maybe made elsewhere?

One shoe is smaller than the other

My wife always buys the more expensive size 8.5 NewBalance shoes and they usually fit great. For some reason the right shoe was smaller and the big toe rested on the toe. The shoes looked like new but the inner packaging showed they had been returned. Maybe they were returned for the same reason we returned them. I thought New Balance quality was consistent, but it's not. We are thinking about our next purchase.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Annoying

Not enough room for toes

I read reviews about resizing but decided to give it a try anyway. I've always worn NB BC with extra room for the toes. Too narrow. Why change something good? Of course, I thought, I'll wear and stretch them around the house. The blisters appeared before the stretch marks. Then I tried to use a stretcher. nope! I assumed they wouldn't take them back because I'd worn them for a few days. $105 down the drain. They are well made, good quality but not for me and my bones. Pooh

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Some flaws
