New Vibram Fivefingers KSO Ladies Review

I love these shoes! They are excellent for rafting and outdoor water sports. They are light and easy to swim in. They fit as expected, but if you've never tried on a pair in a store I certainly would. I had a pair that I had previously bought at the store so I knew what size was right for me.

Everyone always asks me about my shoes when they see them. I love my WFF! I find them very comfortable and perfect for my active lifestyle. I wear them for walking, belly dancing and walking/running as well as just to work! I took a size larger than I should as I knew I would wear many of these and knew my feet would swell, but I think I would be fine with the suggested size for my foot.

I compare it to the Vibram Bikila LS which I use for street running. Very difficult to put on compared to this shoe and once the heel rubbed (blisters on both feet). I give my LS bike 5 stars plus but it's only a meager 2. I got them because I read they are good on the trails as the sole isn't slippery. They grip well while bikes can be a bit slippery, but the shoe's discomfort makes them useless. I will use normal walking shoes.

I've had FiveFingers for over 5 years. Had horrible shin splints with $120+ running shoes combined with rest/ice/wraps/raise but had very few issues with them. Increase the distance quickly and a short wrap or no wrap leaves me with very little shin pain. Almost always barefoot, I had to get used to it a bit. I love these shoes! I have high arches (and pain when poorly supported) and this helps! I use them for walks in the park, running, hiking, everyday use and water sports. The sole is thick so I can't bend my toes down so I can't do sports like yoga in them, but they're thick enough for everyday use. If you step on something (e.g. a sharp stone) you will feel pressure but it will not hurt. I like the thickness of the sole. I think they will last a long time with daily wear. I usually wear a 7.5…
