Terrible Seal, Risky Leakage

The gas cap seal doesn't do its job and creates a risk of leakage. This is particularly frustrating as the cap looks great and is easy to install. Unfortunately, the cap's form takes precedence over its function. Genuinely disappointed, its tough to expect better from Automotive accessories of this price range.

The gas calibration notice on the dashboard could not be removed. I have to buy a more expensive one to get the job done and that's fine. I tried

So far so good!: Gas Cap

To be honest I wasn't really hoping that this simple and cheap part would fix my P0455 code like some YouTube videos suggested trying but the engine light went away after a few hours. Drive. I'll update when the light comes back (or not). Update for the month: The code will not be returned! I'm so glad I tried it first instead of going to the store and getting ripped off!
