I bought this scale after my other scales went down the drain. I'm a hairstylist and I use it to weigh my color more accurately. It would be a good device - if it worked. The ability of the scale to read weight accurately is very poor. We left the item on the scale for more than a minute, and literally in that minute the weight changed by 0.10 grams. It absolutely had to be calibrated from the start. Thank God we had other scales. Batteries are not included. The kit does not include a calibration scale. There are no exact instructions. Save money and buy better ones!

This is a nice attractive little scale that is great for accurately weighing two part epoxy. It has a parts counting function, which can be useful for counting small screws, nails, coins, bullets, etc. However, it is too difficult to use the counting function. Other scales require 1 part to start counting. It requires 25 pieces, making it pretty much useless. Also, it should be easier to calibrate. Hope it stays accurate.

Cool device, heavy for its size so you'd think it's not junk. Worked great for weighing additives. The first set of batteries lasted a few months and then died sooner than I thought, but nothing major. But now he only ate two sets of batteries after using them a few times. Not waterproof. Great weight, fits my espresso machine with most cups so I enjoyed using it but my machine had a pressure problem and the head fell off and the coffee exploded all over my kitchen including my dial. I tried to dry it asap but the wiring is water accessible, no cover, gasket or anything, it's just below where you set the intended gauge. I use it with an espresso machine with an E-61 group head. If I've already lost you, move on to the next review. this is not for you I use a scale to check the weight of the espresso (1g = 1ml) as it comes out of the portafilter so I can calibrate my grinder to make 30ml of espresso in 25 seconds.
