Multiple tester ports (Rj45, Rj45 loopback, Rj11 & banc). It is composed of a main tester, a receiver and a remote identifier. Locating wiring errors. Measuring length and pair with or without far-end recognized. Self-checking function and auto compensate any changes in battery capacity or ambient temperature.

Efficient and useful network tester

Using this device, our team found that it was incredibly easy to identify network connections and troubleshoot issues. The Ethernet and coaxial functionality was particularly convenient, ensuring that we could accurately diagnose issues with various network configurations. The device is also lightweight and compact, making it easy to bring along on the job. The only drawback was the slightly higher price point.

Does exactly what it should.

Received this because I was able to flash the port. Much cheaper than replacing a lost Fluke. Everything works, does exactly what I expected. No 2 9V batteries were included. The tone is strong.

Good middle ground between pocket testers and certification instruments

I purchased the NF-388 in December 2017. He retired in October 2019. .I'm a field engineer so I fix and run Cat5 regularly. I've used this to test and measure hundreds of runs with minor discomfort. It annoys me to have to switch from meters to feet every time you turn it on, but I'm used to it. I've never had any problems measuring length. , and I was not zealous with the calibration.
