Great fit. with lock

I used a set before buying this set and had to take them off again to get a new ignition coil, 3 wires broke in the coil. I've never had this problem with an old device, maybe I have but I guess be careful. Overall still a great product, maybe I got a bad batch or it was me but oh well.

I don't know what the problem with this cable set is.

I don't know what the problem is with this cable set but I couldn't properly attach them to the connectors. I've tried many times and even lubricated the rubber with dielectric grease. There were dropouts, which is why I bought a new set. I ordered a set of Bosch cables and they slipped through the first time. Solved my misfire problem.

  • GOLS certified

Great wires! in Wires

I bought these connector wires to replace the stock wires on my wife's 2001 VW Jetta GLX VR6. While the gaskets around the metal case aren't as flexible as the OEM cables, they are vastly superior to the Denso cables I originally purchased and had to return to StockWiseAuto (do me a favor and avoid both). These connector cables have the same form, fit and function as the OEM cables and are even marked with the cylinder number. I also like the bright blue color!

It's a shame because I use NGK spark plugs in all my spark plugs.

Less than 10,000 on these wires. The rubber inside melted and deformed. Plugs are rusty. Misfiring, cylinder 3 due to broken wire. The connector stayed on the connector when removing the cable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Too bad because I use NGK spark plugs in all my cars and motorcycles. ETA: I had to remove the spool from the machine to pull out the end of wire for #3, and in doing so another wire came loose in the spool pack. The other end of the wire was melted into the coil pack. It took me an…

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BUYING NGK CABLES!

These are by far the worst spark plug wires I have ever bought for my 2000 VW Jetta VR6. The outer rubber seal around the metal part that goes in the spark plug sucks! It's not even glued properly. I had a very hard time fitting them because they didn't fit the spark plug properly. I kept getting misfires. When I pulled the wire out it no longer had a rubber seal, it melted and broke inside where the spark goes. In short, don't buy them, buy original Bosch, they are worth the money. I ignored…

Break too early

After only 1.5 years and 10,000 miles I removed these wires to replace the coil. As another reviewer reported, the rubber grommets on the outside of the ports were tattered and discolored after this brief use. It looked like they were already broken. When I also looked at the connectors, at the metal that connects to the spark plug, I was shocked at how corroded they were. The attached picture (difficult to focus unfortunately) shows an NGK spark plug on the left and one of the original spark…

Hard connection will result in poor contact

I have very positive and very negative feelings about these cables. Positive side: good quality cables and connectors on the side of the coil. The part that goes to the spark plugs doesn't fit in my opinion. I had to press very hard on them to make good contact and I'm still not 100% sure they will hold. The interior is too stiff to push through the spark plugs and this is compensated for by pushing too lightly. Pull a piece of plastic on the cable connector. Somehow I feel like even if I press

Good price you're back on the road

I bought these while helping a friend fix his 2000 VW Jetta V6. It all started with the fuse box/power distributor above the battery. It was rusty and needed a replacement which I bought from Amazon (see my other reviews). It fitted perfectly, the only quirk was that one of the fuses was less force than the OEM so I just swapped it out. It started first but wouldn't idle after warming up, so after I did the soapy water trick. It was fairly obvious that there were breaks around the wires…
